Samsung Biologics Signs $262M Manufacturing Deal With European Pharma Company

The agreement extends manufacturing commitments through 2033 and pushes Samsung Biologics’ cumulative contract value above $21.9 billion.

Editor’s Take: This deal comes as Samsung Biologics continues to secure long-term client commitments and fill available manufacturing capacity quickly.

Samsung Biologics has signed a $262 million manufacturing agreement with a European pharmaceutical company, according to a securities filing disclosed under Korean market rules.

The contract, which includes manufacturing commitments running through 2033, will be carried out at Samsung Biologics’ Songdo manufacturing site in South Korea. The company said the customer’s name and product-specific details will remain confidential under the terms of the agreement.

The new award underscores sustained demand for the company’s manufacturing capacity, with existing capacity across Samsung Biologics’ network continuing to be booked rapidly amid long-term demand from global biopharma clients.

Following the latest agreement, Samsung Biologics’ cumulative contract value has surpassed USD 21.9 billion, reinforcing the company’s business momentum as it expands capacity, broadens its portfolio, and builds out its global footprint.
